About Agrix

Smart Farming, Powered by AI

Agrix is a mobile application built to bring the power of artificial intelligence to everyday farming and plant care. Our mission is simple: help people understand the plants around them, protect their crops from disease, and make agricultural knowledge accessible to everyone — from smallholder farmers to students studying agronomy.

Our Story

Agrix was born as a university project at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI) at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia — as part of the ICT Project Management course.

A multidisciplinary team of nine students came together to design, build, and ship a real working product under real project constraints. What started as an academic exercise became something more: a genuinely useful tool for anyone who grows, tends, or is simply curious about plants.

The team consisted of four frontend developers, three backend engineers, and two documentation specialists — working across a Flutter mobile app and an ASP.NET Core backend deployed on Render.

Accessibility

Agricultural knowledge should not be locked behind expensive consultants or hard-to-find textbooks. Agrix puts expert-level plant knowledge in every farmer's pocket.

Accuracy with honesty

We show confidence scores on every result because we believe users deserve to know how reliable an AI diagnosis is. A low-confidence result is always flagged clearly.

Simplicity

Farming is already hard. Agrix is designed to be used in the field, with one hand, in under a minute.

Privacy

Your scan data belongs to you. We do not sell your information. Images are not stored after analysis.
