Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Agrix mobile application. By creating an account or using Agrix, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
⚠ AI Identification — Important Disclaimer
The plant identification and disease detection results provided by Agrix are generated by artificial intelligence and are not a substitute for professional agricultural or botanical advice.
- Results may be inaccurate, especially when image quality is poor or the affected area is not clearly visible
- Confidence scores are provided as guidance — low confidence scores indicate the result may be unreliable
- For serious crop health concerns, always seek advice from a qualified agricultural professional, plant pathologist, or local agricultural extension office
- We are not liable for any crop damage, financial loss, or other harm resulting from reliance on Agrix scan results
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Agrix, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Agrix is a smart farming mobile application that helps users:
- Identify unknown plants by photographing them
- Detect diseases in crops (fruits and vegetables) by photographing affected plants
- Browse a catalog of supported crops with care and nutritional information
- Store and review a personal history of all scans
- Mark scans as favourites for quick reference
Plant and disease identification results are generated by AI (via the Pl@ntNet API) and are provided for informational purposes only.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must register an account to use Agrix. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your name, email address, and phone number.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Agrix only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the app to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the app or its backend
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the API
- Impersonate another user or person
- Upload images that are not plant-related for scanning purposes

6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
The Agrix app, its design, code, branding, and the crop information database are the intellectual property of the Agrix development team. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant Agrix a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing identification results. Images are not permanently stored after analysis.
7. Third-Party Services
Agrix uses the following third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and notifications
- Pl@ntNet API — plant and disease identification
- Render — backend hosting
We are not responsible for the actions or policies of these third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Agrix and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Inaccurate plant or disease identification results
- Any agricultural, financial, or personal losses arising from use of the app
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Agrix or any feature at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Agrix after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of North Macedonia.
